Movember is something that is very close to the hearts of Apothecary 87, especially for our leader, Sam W Martin. At the end of this month, Apothecary 87's founder will brave the shave and get rid of his beard in support of Movember, after more than five years of his face being covered up. 

For those who don't know, the '87' in Apothecary 87 pays homage to Sam's grandad. 

Sam commented: "As I was starting out Apothecary 87 (and still thinking of a name), my Grandad sadly passed away from Prostate Cancer. It was at the end of September ’13, and I decided to honour this great man’s memory. I would use something of his, in the name. He was 87 when he died and as I was born in ’87, I decided it was a sign that it should be a part of the name. With my love of all things vintage and because I was mixing my own beard tonic, Apothecary 87 was created."

If you didn't recognise our handsome leader, he is the one on the left showcasing his cocktail flaring skills. What a dish ;-)
