It's safe to say this particular World Cup has been a great success. The football played by some of the nations has been nothing short of spectacular and for the majority, everyone seems to be behaving themselves (Shocker, I know). Perhaps the most eye opening thing of the major event, has been Neymar's hairstyle coming into the tournament.
Thankfully there are players in the World Cup that have been setting the standard from a fashion and style point of view.
Here's five players from the 2018 World Cup who've been showing the way when it comes to fashion and grooming.

First up we have:
1. Alex Iwobi, Nigeria
It might be slightly biased of me to choose Alex Iwobi here, being an Arsenal fan, but his team, Nigeria, have to get a mention. When the Nigerian Football Kit was launched by Nike this Spring, the whole world went into melt down. Nike jumped straight back into the early 90's in terms of style and produced both a football kit and apparel that will go down in history as one of the most iconic football kits ever produced.
To put this into perspective, Nike received over 3million pre orders for the Nigerian Football Kit. In 2016, Man Utd (The most supported team across the world) received 2.85million orders.
Here is Alex is rocking the 'Love Sick' esq, lifestyle tracksuit with a crisp pair of white Air Force 1s.
2. Keisuke Honda, Japan
This man is an absolute hero back in his home country of Japan and has actually just retired following his countries exit of the World Cup. Apart from having tremendous ability with the football, he is also considered to be one of the most fashionable footballers on the planet.
His hair is always on point, sporting a short textured look, probably using a Paste or Clay to create his desired look.
Known for his love of fine Italian suits, we think the best way to describe Keisuke is SHARP!
3. Oliver Giroud, France
The once credited 'Sexiest Man In Football' has always been one of the most well groomed men in Football. Mr Giroud looks equally as sharp both clean shaven and with a beard, he seems to just about pull off every look. The Frenchman also manages to keep his hair firmly in place after a 90 minute football game which is a feat on its own!
His hair is actually the focus point of this particular entry and will no doubt require either a Grease Pomade or the re-workable, Clay Pomade, to achieve the look.
Little extra tip from our Head Barber, Jimmy Cutthroat:
'Don't forget about using a hair dryer. Ok, it might not be the most 'manly' of styling tools but using one can help achieve your desired look and gives you that extra volume you may require.
4. Jerome Boateng, Germany
Jerome is on here for one reason and one reason only...he wears what he wants. Some people across the world consider Jerome as a fashion icon, others call him a fashion disaster. That being said, we have always believed that fashion/style is an extension of your own personality.
The Bayern Munich defender has one of the most unconventional wardrobes and is certainly not afraid to wear what he's feeling at the time. He is his own antidote to the norm.
There should be more people in the world like Jerome.
5. Jesse Lingard
Can't have a list without an England player. The Man Utd midfielder has been a revelation, both for his club and country this year. Jesse does not hold back when it comes to spending his money on clothing and showcasing his expensive style. He can be seen more than often dressed head to toe in Gucci!
He likes to keep his appearance well groomed and prefers things clean and neat, keeping on top of his shaving routine.
Ok, so that is our top 5 stylish footballers of this years World Cup. Remember you can use code: THREELIONS25 for 25% off Apothecary 87.
