Q&A

I used to buy Manitoba regularly, it always came in 100 ml package. I was suprised that I received 50 ml package now... Price remained the same but you get 50% less pomade. Same goes for Salt Tonic. How come?
Hi Dalibor, Thanks for your question. So yes, some of our products have and will be moving to into smaller sizes. Unfortunately due to the rising costs of ingredients, packaging, shipping, really all aspects of our business, we've had no choice but to reduce the size of some of our products and increase the price slightly.     Dry hair will allow you to create a more matte finish, but you could sacrifice some workability.

  • We recommend applying only a pea sized amount to the hair.

    If you have longer hair, or want a bit more hold, then add more as you see fit.

  • Yes! Our water based products wash out easily, but wax based products can be harder to remove especially if you use a lot.

    We recommend Apothecary 87 Botanical Shampoo to wash out any product. It will even remove a whole tub in one wash!

  • We estimate that our products last 1-3 months with moderate usage.

    This can change depending on how much product you use at a time, as well as how often you apply it to your hair.
